My favorite part of holidays is wrapping the gifts. It is the ideal opportunity to use up many relics of various projects and give free rein to my creativity loose, just for fun. From my packing room is shared with the laundry, it is a safe place to find some peace of mind throughout the holiday madness.

Minimalist with a touch of Ritz, great gift wrapping ideas start with cool results. The secret to the look of these gift wrap French candy is all in the trimmings. Custom to have an impact, even simple gifts can look elegant with a little accent. Do not be afraid to expand the color palette beyond the traditional, it's all good because, really, anything goes. Although I used combinations of assorted colors of turqoise, green and blue pastel with soft silver accents in the middle of angelic white and chocolate brown, the theme is what brings everything together.

fuzzy wool for a warm and cozy feeling: Super easy and elegant. Once a gift is wrapped, affix one or two ribbons around the box, then wrap a few lengths of wool fuzzy as decorative trim around the package.
