Simplicity Changing Table

Simplicity Changing TableTable tennis as a real sport

Since its inception in the late nineteenth century, table tennis has acquired a large number of enthusiastic supporters, and the game itself has changed a fair game for a real sport.

The origins of table tennis, like most other games racket, are unclear. Some argue that originated in England, others say it was developed by British officers stationed in India and others say it has been played in New England. Wherever it began, the game has benefited from the popularity of a way to England on the Continent and the United States during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century under different names like "Gossima "and ping-pong" - the name derives from the sound produced by the contact between ball and racquet.

In its earliest forms, table tennis was played with rackets and snowshoes small, light and a rubber ball, covered with a knitted web. In the late 1890s, replacing it with a celluloid ball to the rubber and then use in the game even more popular. Because of the simplicity of the game and the lack of standardized rules and equipment, almost everyone was a good player.

In 1905, EC Goode of London introduced the rubber-faced bat, which made possible a variety of moves and turns are impossible with the bat in the early nineteenth century. The racket was about the same as that used today. Despite the new opportunities that the invention of this racket has provided for the creation of a truly scientific sport, the game has lost its popularity, shortly after Mr. Goode innovation in the marketplace. Only Hungary had enough interested players in the game to continue playing.

Around 1920 he has been a renewed interest in Table Tennis Europe, led mainly by Hungarians who were to dominate the international game until 1937. The International Federation of Table Tennis was founded in Berlin in 1926, inspired by an organization formed earlier in England, and the first set of official rules is adopted.

At that time, the United States have once more interested in the game, and the American Association of Ping Pong was founded in 1930. The association - which has sponsored tournaments - encouraged by Parker Brothers of Salem, Massachusetts, who patented the name ping-pong "a few years ago and were thus official equipment manufacturers as" ping-pong America.

Other manufacturers of games room, aware of the benefits to be realized in the production of material for this rapid growth of the sport, copied Parker Brothers product. Unable to commercialize patented under the name "ping-pong", they called on their table and table tennis rackets "of equipment, and sponsored the creation of the Table Tennis Association slate.

Each organization has set up tournaments and a national championship, and the rivalry, fueled by manufacturers of parlor games, to encourage interest in the sport even more. In 1934 finally, the manufacturers got together and the two associations merged, the United States Table Tennis Association. The Association is a non-commercial group with members in almost all states. It regulates the rules of the game, publishes a monthly magazine, sending the best American players to compete in amateur tournaments and world championship in Europe, and generally promotes the growth of the game.

Table Tennis security adopted across the scene mode, and has now reached a permanent place in one of the most popular sports in America. The equipment is standard and specific rules. The scientific principles that govern the behavior of a celluloid ball hit by a rubber-coated bat were explored and, as much as what was once a fashionable salon on Thursday that while the world a chance to win is now a fast and exciting sport, champions who are among the fastest athletes and flexible.
