Safe Sunblock For Baby

Safe Sunblock For BabySome advice / opinions please, is it safe to take a baby to the beach??

I take my daughter 11 months at the beach all the time, I do not see that there's anything wrong with that. While I have sunscreen and a hat baby and do not expose my daughter in the sun all the time we're here, I think it is + great, she really enjoys the water.

My sister will not take her son BCS doctor said that her baby is not safe for young babies to go to the beach. I did not argue the BCS is the baby's choice. I really wanted the cousins to play together well. But she did not even take our family picnic either, she did not take it if it is after 7pm when the sun is gone.

But personally I think many doctors sometimes exaggerate a lot.

Would you take your son or daughter, who are under 1 year old at the beach? or am I wrong to do?

And it will probably make her children use plastic knives blunted and forks for dinner until 15.

Everyone needs a little fresh air and sunshine, including babies.
Maybe put in a suggestion of his doctor is a loon, and she needs to leave the house during the day with her baby.

Do not listen to them whenever I went to the beach, I saw many mothers with their children very happy, some even with babies, as they are protected with creams and sun hats etc.. it should be good, and if she sits still ensure that it has a sun conopy covering it entirely, so look at your feet, feet can burn very quickly in the sun, especially on children, it can be xx terrible pain

I see nothing wrong with taking a baby to the beach, provided that proper precautions are taken (shade, sun, etc..) I took my son there when he was little. However, any parent stupid enough to allow their children to get a sunburn should be prosecuted for abuse.

You can take the baby to the beach with a large single care.Keep an eye on them while they play.Doctors mainly saying that babies can not be in the sun too long, unless they are 2 years and older.

Ouch, it's so sad for the babies. I took my baby to the beach, it is good for them. The only thing I avoid excessive exposure to sunlight.

watching the sun! Maybe setup a small tent and let him play inside it

Wow the doc does not say everything? Thats weird and yes I agree some docs have different opinions. I think as long as the baby has a sunscreen and drink lots of water, she / he will be well ... children need to be out playing and everyone needs exposure to sunlight. My boy has only been to the beach once, he was 9 months, he loved it! I live in AZ, which is of course the land of the sun hot hot! He is 5 now and has never had a sunburn, but is outside the pool every day.
