Red Eared Slider baby died? Well My Baby 3 sliders Red EARD have done again, and killed another turtle.
Well last Saturday I threw the dead turtle because the filter to suck his blood and everything and I also found a look inside the filter. Now I have food problems, because it disgusts me because my turtles him torn in two.
It's not like the little turtle died by the way he really drowned because he was exploring the castle and couldnt find his way I guess because I've found floating on the top (inside castle).
Does anyone know how I can start eating well again? Every time I think im eating turtles head under itself and cannot eat.
Thank you
Give him a few days ... is a sad sight ...
So, after you and your friend has saved 257 and now you have how many left?
Sliders and their ilk are social .. see my pictures, they do not lie .. species you do not mix ..
The smaller guy has probably been hiding and afraid of being eaten.

You must have a small tank for these guys and not enough food.
You and I talked about Kiddy pools just after rescuing these guys in the bag .. this lady, what happened?
You must feed them guppies charger, goldfish or minnows for protein and calcium down 30 or so in the tank and watch them disappear in a few days! When I arrived at the 36 Two years ago, we had then were goldfish to feed, so after 36 years and still going strong. They can eat goldfish!
That way, when they swim for their dinner, they exercise too!
I also feed dried blood worms or worms cubed tubiflex at least 5 times a week.
They sleep at the bottom of rivers and streams. lakes or ponds or your tank to avoid predators like coyotes, foxes, owls, hawks, possums, raccoons and even some bass mouth.
Add to that a bird cuttle bone in the water for calcium that will foster growth of shells, it will dissolve very slowly and if they eat it all right!
They may have to garden, meal worms, snails, crickets, flies, crayfish small frogs, slugs, tadpoles, dragon flies and anything that moves, but only as a treat.
They need leafy greens Romaine, Butter lettuce. (Iceberg and cabbage are bad for them, while other broadleaf greens will do) for vitamin A they need at least 3 to 4 times a week.
They love grapes and strawberries and squash ..
You probably already know that get sick easily, shell rot, respiratory disease, lopsided swimming, coughing, bubbles of their noses. Fungus white cotton patches on the skin?
** Eyes swollen disorder which means lack of vitamin A. we all need good eyes. Google vegetables with vitamin A.
Contact the "www.anapsid.org / companies for a turtle vet / rescue in your city and state.
I wish you good luck.
Done yet? Please do not get more turtles.
You have to forgive and get over it. Looks like you're feeling a little guilty.
Try not to think of eating with friends and convosate if you think aboutt it
