Pregnancy Baby Heart Beat

I `ve learned that boys usually stay around the 130-140 range and the girls are much higher .....? Is this true? My baby `s heart beat is in the 130` s, and I have this feeling that he is a boy ... I have since I discovered that I was Preggo .... Anyone have experience in thinking like that ....??? Everything else that was your son or daughters average heart beat??

It's just an old myth, which is the rate boys and girls 120-140 140-160. But the rate of babies in the womb heart fluctuate. When I was pregnant with my daughter, the rate has fluctuated between 133-160. I am 23 weeks pregnant again. This time it's a boy (confirmed by amniocentesis) and heart rate has fluctuated between 136-160. However, I read an article that said mothers intuition is just about 67% of the time, then maybe you have a boy. Best wishes for a healthy baby, regardless of sex.

The fetal heart rate has nothing to do with the sex of the baby.

I heard the same thing and come to be true with my 3 children my son was usually 120-130 and 160-170 my daughters.
