The only problem is that I can not sit on them for more than a second. I tried to read, sing for them, allowing them to play with them. And nothing works. I have been consistenly putting them on the potty 5-6 times a day and we did not progress. I just want some advice ... I'm lost. Potty Training Twins is the same for potty training a singleton. Basically when they show signs of being ready as interested in what you do when in the bathroom, squatting to do their business in their diapers, or even remove it layer - there are lots of signs. They are not yet ready, the boys are notoriously difficult to train pot as it is, but you doubly. and the fact that they turned two does not mean they are ready, half the time the boys are not ready until somewhere between two and a half years to three years. I have three son born two years apart and none of them were willing to train cleanliness above all around their third birthday, and my friends with boys have said the same thing. They do not seem to be ready. Boys tend to be a little late for some things, I notice that even with twins. It is quite correct. They focus on the other and play. Which is another important element of their growth. It is actually easier to train twin pot. They encourage and influence each other. Just to get one started and the other will follow! Any potty train them as you would a single child. The boys take longer to form pot. Unless they begin to show interest, I would not try to train boys 2 young pitcher. Some boys are not ready to be trained pot until almost 3 years. If you jar the train too early, they tend to have more accidents as they get older. I think it has to do with the underdevelopment of the urinary bladder muscle control. Posted on January 20, 2010.
