Potty Toilet Seat

Potty Toilet SeatHow do you know your child is ready to be trained to insert and pot pot or toilet seat?

Many people say that you'll just know when your child is ready to form the cleanliness? How will I know it is my first. He is very bright and move forward quickly so that I should go ahead and expose him. So do I buy a small individual pots or part that goes over the toilet seat? Should we start using words like pee and poop when he goes ... like how the h * ll do you even start the process? LOL

Yes ... yes ... and yes.

I have a little girl ... and my family has a lot of girls, so I do not really know much about boys.
My sister and I presented our girls the jar about 1 year. It was just an introduction. Bring the child into the bathroom with you and show them what you do. When you go to the bathroom say "go pee mom" ... "Poo is Mom." Definitely use this terminology when he goes too. A 2 1 / 2 years, we pot trained.

My daughter has been showing increased interest in the use of pot and she was excited about wearing "big girl" panties. Me to stay at home for a week and would put on the pot every hour, constantly asking if she needed to go pee or poop. Every time she succeeded, she was rewarded (as you see fit for your child).

It was a month and I'm proud (and happy) to say that I have not changed a poopy bum for weeks! It's so beautiful.

I use a small potty seat ring and pot. I keep the pot small in the living room (or take a trip in the car) and I use the seat ring at times when I'm near the bathroom (bath time, bedtime).

I heard that the boys are a bit slower to form pot, then it might be too early if it is less than 2 years, but you can certainly introduce him.

Good luck.

I recommend a small pot to start. This gives them their own little seat in the bathroom. I think the toilet risers, you can buy are good for an advanced trainee pot, but first, I think the toilet is a kind of intimidation.

Once children begin to look at their dirty diapers, showing signs they may be ready to start or close. When they can let you know that they need changed is another good indicator. I heard it was much more difficult for boys to form the cleanliness for girls, but it probably depends on just what your method.

The article I read said to take your child for the pot once per hour and let them sit on the pot. If they go or not they are comfortable with the idea that is where they are. Begin to use words that you feel comfortable, be it clean or pee, etc.

If you have any questions or doubts, I asked her pediatrician for your next visit. They would be able to say signs suretale he is ready to begin, and may be able to give you some guidance on how to do the job.

Good luck!
