Plastic Baby Pants Why not put plastic liner in the pants for babies more?? When I was a baby (born 1977) had little baby clothes-bloomers / pants or diaper covers, as they called them who were lined with plastic and cotton have been out, they were perfect for the use of cloth diapers. I have my old vintage ones of my baby that day my mother gave me and I want to use on my daughter but I was wondering if there was a reason they stopped making them??? The plastic irritate the skin??? Or did they simply stop making them because the majority of mothers have stopped using cloth and disposable daipers used and do not need more plastic pants??? I would like to know if anyone knows, I think maybe they should bring them back on the market - What do you think??? This is because the plastic causes the skin to be sweaty and mocked. Poor little babies can not tell you when they are ill at ease. Plastic is not breathing. Even disposable breathing a little. I know this is an old post, but I do not think the trousers covered with plastic and combinations to come back. My daughter wore them when she was young, but I have not seen him since. I think I still have one or two. If you still wish, I'd be happy to send everything I have to. Report Abuse You can always get here in Australia. Try www.ebay.com.au I'm sure someone will sell them. I think they are called pilchers. You can buy Dipa still covers, then put the baby on her pants. saw them at Babies R Us, Gerber .. Think landfills. The plastic does not decompose for hundreds, even thousands of years. Think Green! Posted on January 1, 2010.
