Plastic Baby Bottles

Plastic Baby BottlesHow do you get candle wax film off plastic bottles?

I washed a cup of tea nic-nac in the dishwasher with a few beads of candle wax in it. I also had the baby bottles is there and he made a film on the plastic at all. Please help me find a way to descend. .... Thank you very much

I would either try Goo Gone, alcohol or nail polish remover .... I actually worked at a preschool and we use bleach to get sticky stuff on the surface! Good luck!

Get the water boiling on the fire, not hot enough to melt the bottle, but hot enough to melt the wax. The film will float if it was largly paraffin. Keep the bottle / cup and drain the flooded water on top. You can use a strainer if you can not just high strain. Just rinse with hot water, if you use a colander.

Try this: Put the bottle under or in hot water for a minute or two, then gently and carefully scrape with a knife or with your own nails.
