Pink And Brown Baby Shower Cakes

Pink And Brown Baby Shower CakesBaby Shower required notice.?

All right. So ... for short, I'm stuck in planning my own baby shower ... Yeah, I know sticky, sorry. I have no other choice because everyone has withdrawn from me. (Good friends, no?)

Anyway, I got my invitation and sent about 30 people.
I do not expect many people to come forward. I'd be more inclined to think that about 15 people might show.

This is my first time really planning anything, and I have been only 2 baby showers in my life, I do my best here. I do not have a theme but everything will be pink and brown because I had all the decorations from my friend the other of her baby shower last month (which is a big help!) I n 'do not intend to spend much money on my shower, because to be honest, I think the showers and are very overrated and a waste of money when you go too far from your path. So I'm trying to keep things simple (since I'm paying for and organizing myself.)

My shower will be in mid-October, from 2 to 4 pm If that matters.

For my food menu, I want to keep it to simple finger foods that are cheap, easy, and not incredibly dirty. I would also like it being cute, I'll do my best to "dress" with matching plates and cups, napkins, decorations ... ect. This is not a problem.

Here is my food menu:
Cake (of course)
Sandwich quarters (with toothpicks for easy grabbing)
Cheese and crackers
variety Chips and dip
Cookies
A bowl of Hershey Kisses
A bowl of mixed nuts or trail mix or

and on the side (this may sound crazy) but I want to design a flower of jello and pudding pie. My plan ... to the center of the flower, make a pie chocolate milk (to match my napkins and plates of chocolate) and the petals, pink jello cups in different light. (The cups jello will design the petals around the cake with milk ... and yes I know the effect will not be the last time people start to take cups of Jell-O ... oh well) It is cheap and easy ...

Other suggestions??

For drinks, I want to do something simple. I will have to enter a large punch bowl. People also have the opportunity to have a cup of coffee (my family is full of serious coffee addicts!) And streams if customers prefer.

For games, I also want to keep things simple. Most of my clients (I think) will be adults who are not interested in silly little games, but all the more striking a cup of coffee and talk. I have invited some of my age who are to come that insist on games, so I have to try to please both groups. My game will not be a mistake as "feel the layer, by guessing the chocolate."

Here is a list of games that will be played at my shower:
1) Guess how many m & m's are in the bottle.
2) Baby Raffle - each guest will have a baby plastic miniature size with a number on the back. Whoevers number will receive a prize. (Call may both numbers?)
3) Measurement of the game - each guest has to guess about the scale I am using special measuring tape. The closest proposal gets a prize.
4) Index Card Game - Each client is invited to write on a card, his best advice for me (referring to having a baby) and write his name on the back. When everyone is done I'll go through the cards and take the advice that I found most useful. A person whose name appears on the back wins a prize.

Regarding prices for games, I also want to keep this very cheap! The price for the game will of course bottle bottle candy, lol.
Other ideas the price of things such as burning candles, lotions, chocolates, perfume ... things that I can look for a very reasonable price ... (All suggestions !???) dollar store maybe???

And finally, for party favors, I would like to CAK.
