Organic Massage Lotion

Organic Massage LotionMassage oil / lotion?

Can anyone recommend a good massage oil or lotion - preferably something natural / organic as anything we found at Whole Foods / Wild Oats ... and the perfume something free or lightly scented. Thank you.

Hey! I am a massage therapist! There are a ton of good. I am only gonna recommend organic and natural, but there are others as good. Do not use mineral oil! It is a product Petrolium and bad for your skin.

the grapeseed oil (my favorite)
Coconut oil (second fave) (you may have to melt depending on what you buy)
almond oil
Apricot kernel oil
Jojoba (very expensive but the best for the skin, amazing feeling)
Olive
Avacado oil (also very expensive but very good for you)

That would be my first choice. You can usually find cheap essential oils to scent your massage oil. Essential oils have profound effects on the body depends on what you want. Lavender is relaxing and soothing, good for the skin, and antiseptic, ask people for help on this. Your basic carrier oils mentioned above are all beautiful in themselves and shed light on the perfumes themselves, olive oil is of course strong, almost any grape seed and others are only kind of earth. Enjoy!

My clients benefit personally almond oil, perfume and when necessary I use a lavender essential oil mixed with oil. Used lightly and evenly, it creates a very soft feel and comfortable for my clients.
