Nappy Days

I gave birth 6 days ago, and moved on milk after Day 3, we have had locking issues that I was expressing and feeding with a bottle of 6-7 times per day ( 1oz/feed about), but we still get red brick dust in wet diapers - Should we fear now 6 days since his birth?

1 oz 6 times a day is really not enough, but at 6 days it is still running off the supplies he had at birth. You should talk to your midwife - it seems to be a little dehydrated and it will start to need more than that (more often) very soon. At your milk come in yet?

check with your midwife. I was told this was due to dehydration with babies 1 and 2 but 3 baby when it came I was told this was normal for a few days and its just released his system! Baby 3 was definatley not dehydrated and was a perfectly healthy little boy great. Try not to worry too much and talk with your MW. luck x

Are you eating something red every day? If not I would call your doctor and the nurse, My Poo guys were always yellow or pale gray and shabby, unless I ate a ton of Berrys blue or black puppy it would be shades of colors.
