Madison Changing Table

We have a 4 in 1 convertible bed like this:

and am having problems linking the bumpers on the bed properly because of the changing table. I can not attach the bumper on the right side of the crib, because that is where the dressing table is .. if I just attach it, because I can not tie it around the band, the bumper is too big ...
anyone else have this problem? What you end up doing?

Try hot gluing the bumper posts. I saw in a magazine parental nurseries that have a strong side instead of posts, but I guess it works the same for you.
