Oceanside to San Diego one good starting point
A new California hot spots is Oceanside, a bedroom community for San Diego and Camp Pendleton, which just happens to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the state.

The city is also proud to Camp Pendleton near the center of mass training Marine Corps and the only thing that keeps the southern coast of California to be a great city. Without the 20 miles of coastline set aside for Pendleton, the city is no doubt begin in Santa Monica and end in San Diego.

Rap old Oceanside was that it was a military town and not the place to invest millions in your house by the sea new. During our latest visit to Oceanside, we stayed at the Wyndham Ocean Pier, which opened early 2008. With probably the best location in the city - just across from the famous Oceanside Pier - the resort sells and rents its units, although generally it is easier to obtain units of waterfront as owner. The Wyndham has magnificent ocean views and all beach activities, to bicylists strollers, walkers to power picknickers. In our unit on the sixth floor, overlooking the beach and nearby Oceanside neighborhoods were spectacular.

Our two-bedroom unit at the Wyndham Hotel has been decorated in holiday colors such as Aqua gay and lemon green and beige, and included three flat-screen televisions and full kitchens. Shopping was fun, easy going and fit into the pattern of holidays has been so evident as soon as we walked in the door. But best of all these views have been, and we enjoyed spending time at the table of our lanai reading the paper, sipping coffee and enjoying a spectacular view of all activities surrounding the California Long Jetty recreation.

The weekend we visited, Oceanside has held its reputation as a legendary surf town. A contest is underway, where Internet is incredible maneuvers just off the pier. From the beach, atop a platform, several judges have reviewed all the movements and scoring. Beach lovers and sun lovers carefully watched the surfers.
