Dry Baby Wipes

Dry Baby WipesMaking homemade baby wipes

Want to save money? Making homemade baby wipes only takes a few minutes to work and save lots of money. Here is the recipe save money:

Take 1 roll of paper towels and cut premiums in half (widthwise) using a sharp knife. Cheap, thin paper napkins rip easily. I recommend making your cloth wipes 1 / 2 a role at a time, but if you have more children or want a half-roll does not last as long as you wish, use both halves.

When you do: (1) 1 / 2 roll

Chips 1 cup water 1 tablespoon baby wash, shampoo or soap
* 1/2-1 tablespoons baby oil or olive oil (preferably organic) **

When you do: (2) 1 / 2 rolls

2 cups water 2 tablespoons baby wash, shampoo or soap chips
* 1-2 tablespoon of baby oil or olive oil (preferably organic) **

* Look for products free of chemicals. My first choice is Earth Mama Angel Baby Shampoo & Body Wash and Earth Mama Angel Baby Diaper Rash Soap.

** Again, check the labels! My first choice is Earth Mama Angel Baby Baby Oil.

For wipes:

1. Combine all liquid ingredients together.
2. Put paper towels in a bowl and pour the liquid mixture over the towel.
3. Let the mixture soak for about 10 minutes.
4. paper towels upside down and let stand for 10 minutes.
5. Pull out the center cardboard base and wipes appear in the middle of race.
6. Store your house wipes in a plastic bag, gallon size, plastic storage container with a lid, or re-use an old container of disposable wipes.

For additional savings and promote a greener earth, try to use cloth wipes. Just soak the cloth wipes in the above mixture, wrap the wipe, and place them in a container, a gallon size plastic bag or a cloth made especially for hot homemade baby wipes.

Another option is to put the above mixture in a spray bottle and spray directly on your baby's tush. Tap gently with a dry cloth or damp wash cloth.

Hope your baby's bottom comes out clean, smooth and soft while saving you $ $ $!
