Cosco Summit Car Seat

Cosco Summit Car SeatIs Summit Cosco car seat right on an airplane, someone has already tried?

I already bought my ticket for 20 months and called the airline to confirm, but I read on the internet that the seat should be 16 inches or less, and mine is on it. But he says he is approved for air travel. If anyone has traveled with this particular seat please let me know. Thank you very much.

If approved by the FAA, to my knowledge, they can not tell you. But it may affect where they sit. They do not allow car seats to stand firm in the aisles or in front of exits. They will probably try to put next to a window so it will not track anyone. There are seats out there that are wider than that are used every time - Britax Roundabout and Marathon. The marathon is 19inches wide and the roundabout is 18.5inches. If they will not let you use it, I raise a stink. Show them the label that has already been approved. Arrive early and see if they will allow you to "priority boarding" so that you can install the seat before everyone goes on the plan. After installation, you get off and board, everyone when its time. things is much easier if you can do.
