Cloth Diaper Fabric

Cloth Diaper FabricWhat is the most absorbent fabric? Cloth Diapers /?

I try to make cloth diapers for my children, but would like to know i'de What is the most absorbent fabric? and as the number of layers of what I should put on the layer of fabric??

I LOVE hemp! I heard that bamboo is very good too, but I've never used layers of bamboo and I do not know personally. If you go with hemp, make sure there is a soft layer (flannel or microfleece, perhaps) against baby's skin because hemp is very tough.

im doing the same thing, I use 2 peices of cotton 100% and to a small strip in the middle about 12 inches long and 4 inches wide with 4 strips of cotton, it absorbs very well and is cheaper than flannel, but I think would be more absorbent flannel.

Good old fashioned flannel.
