Citronella Repellent

Citronella RepellentRepellent Herbal

2 ounces vegetable oil
1 / 4 teaspoon each lemon and eucalyptus essential oils
1 / 8 c. pennyroyal tea each, cedar and rose geranium essential oil

Mix ingredients and apply the mixture directly on the skin all the presentations. Keep oil away from eyes and mouth take care not to rub your eyes immediately after applying the repellent with your fingers. This repellent will keep at least one year.

Herbal repellents have a scent more pleasant than their counterparts pharmacy, and their use is certainly preferable to rubbing toxic chemical repellents in your skin.

Because insects have an amazing sense of smell, the smell is used as a basic element in most repellents. Mosquitoes, ticks and many other crawling and flying pests hate the smell of herbs like eucalyptus, pennyroyal and citronella, unfortunately, do not harm people. The combination of these herbs and you find yourself with an insect repellent that sends very well out of your friends. I found that the pungent smell of eucalyptus and lemon grass becomes more enjoyable with the addition of geraniums, but only for humans, not insects. Despite its sweet smell rose geranium is ideal to keep bugs away.
