Children of Light (Part # 2) The first part of this review focused on three-part "children". Now for the "light" which must be done in two parts. Thus, a comment cope. On numerous occasions the Bible Spek us as "children of light" and the question is how to interpret this? Is this a metaphorical statement, or do we follow the literal fundamentalists? Interestingly, you might even find literalists who would cover the literal sense, when I would not.
There are two main Greek words are translated by the scribes James King light. You know how they were. There is a natural light such as that candle represents fire: something natural, physical, and initiated by the man you would find in Matt. II Peter 5:15 or 1:19. The Greek word "luchnos" is very different from what "phos" is a Greek word signifiying a light that never lit, and never hardening.
In other words, "this light is a supernatural light, spiritual, and it is the word used for the light to where we are told that we are" children of light ".
These references, depending on the translation, which is John 12:35-36, I Th 5:5, 5:8 and Ephesians. Think it not strange that we are called "children of light" as Jesus called himself the Light! The King James tomboys in their interpretation of light in John 5:5, and they said John was light when the Greek word natural is used and the ERC (Revised English Bible) has corrected the boys and called a lamp (a natural light). But I digress.
The Old Testament has the same situation.
Have you ever wondered why we see the fourth day of creation of the sun, stars and moon, and yet the way back on the first day God said, Let there is light? The light you say? Course! The 4th day light is natural sunlight, and very hot stars. Light is the 1st day of spiritual light. Can you say Big Bang?
So now that we have the technical formalities of the road, we will move to how we are the children of light and in doing so, we will get rid of the nasty little creature sinful , we said that we are even the birth by original sin.
Why God we born in sin, originally to start? Can you say original blessing?
Can I. I am!
