Bt Digital Baby Monitor

Hello, I'm gonna be a mom first time - 31 due date in January 2009 and we have tried to buy things for baby. My mother said she would get a stroller travel system / and I've been watching Chicco trio enjoy evolution - £ 299 - £ 345. So my brother said he would buy beautiful baby monitors for us and I mostly decided on the BT Digital Baby Monitor 150 - £ 69.99. Does anyone out there have one of these two and can tell me about the comments, they are good. I searched for more inline comments, but I'm just looking for other opinions. All opinions appreciated. So if anyone has any suggestions for similar items in similar price range that might be useful. Many Thanks to all. xxx

I had the Chicco Trio Enjoy - just a slightly older model than my 3 girls now - but I've had with it really well. The only thing I liked was that it was an umbrella style fold, which was a god send to use public transport as im only short and it wasn't too big for me. (Player I) and it was really solid! I walk everywhere, and was struck down stairs and everything was fine and easy to push and you can adjust the handles on what has been fabulous for my partner. the only reason we do not, it is now because we have given to a member of the family after we had finished with it, but its still great! despite the blows he received from me!
id give negative points about this is that it does not fold the stroller / car because it is a hard case - have to use the car seat for babies younger while for Bus or stroller as it is entirely based so you can use from birth. I work in a shop for baby now and I always enjoy selling the Chicco. If you're lucky a quick glance at the retail store that although it was perfect for my lifestyle that might not be suitable for everyone! (And I always advise to check the size of your trunk of the car before purchase and travel system!)

The comments are difficult because you need a lot of different things and to be honest most parents to find after 6 months stroller is so much easier, the Evo Chicco is a good buy, but all you really need is a lightweight, large basket, and it must be easy to fold and clip the car seat on and off. as baby monitors, they are all the same, walkie talkie in one way with different ideas to get your brother to spend £ 20 on a Tommy, and a bag of good change, with the remaining money. success

I monitor BT and it is great! You can set almost all the batteries work well my little niggle that the belt clip locks into place very easily if you pay attention, you cn ot be replaced, but then it costs £ 9 Thich is pretty steep for a clip

I had a Chicco and I did not like what I have. it is cheap, but the wheels do not last so I suggest going with another brand. I'm a fan of style strollers pramette like this. you can use with a baby carrier or just as a stroller, baby can face both ways once they are able to sit. So when the baby is young, maybe 6 months they can get your face and all eye contact and comfort and you can keep an eye on them, but later you can turn the stroller in the other feel so baby can see.
