Booster Seat Regulations

Booster Seat RegulationsRegarding the new regulations for booster seats for child ...?

I am aware that 18 (or Monday) in the United Kingdom the new regulations come into force. My question is: if the seat belt is a safety belt is not a three-point seat belt, are you required to use a booster seat? The child concerned has only to use a booster seat fundamental not one of the great variety of back - but some of the basic ones that do this are only for use with three point belts. I'm struggling to find this information and I wondered if parents on this site managed to discover! I asked at Halfords, but their staff did not know ...

From what I understand the law stipulates that if it is not possiable to fit a car seat because there is insufficient space then a booster seat is not necessary . Ie. if the other spaces are occupied by car seats already. If not, you surly Childs you must use a seat belt 3. A thought for this by using a booster seat you will also need a restraint seat belt to ensure it matches propley.
Mothercare advice is "The belt must be properly fitted and worn as closely as possiable - the lap belt should go over the area pevic, not the stomach and the shoulder belt should rest on the shoulder is not neck. "

Argos sell a seat height of 20 books that will fit on a happly three-point hitch, but the best advice you have to say why you can not use 3-point belt.

See the link below for more adivce

In most cars that have rear 3-point belt, you can actually find in your owner's manual they suggest taking the car to a dealer whose additional belt was added to accommodate safely a child seat.

As far as I understand it is only the height of the child, the types of belts does not apply!

I had not even heard of it til Saturday while listening to the radio
