Baby Monitor With Screen

Baby Monitor With ScreenMy 6 months is still sleeping on his back, but the last few nights, she was rolling her belly?

Am sure this is not much to worry about, she is able to turn back over. When I lay down at night, we put it on this thing (not sure what it is called), but the triangle has sides to help hold it in position. I have a baby monitor with a video screen, which I think makes me even more paranoid. So basically what I am wondering when is your baby start sleeping on her stomach and how is this?

When my son was born (20 years) they told us never to put babies on their backs to sleep, because if he spits in his sleep, he could aspirate and die. A few years ago they started all this "back to sleep" nonsense, and they say not to put babies on their stomachs to sleep because he will die of SIDS. The bottom line is that they do not really know what causes SIDS, and after a few years they come out with new recommendations. Because of advances in forensic science, they discovered that many SIDS deaths were actually parental homicide. My daughter has severe reflux and the only time we did put on their backs to sleep, she spits and does start to choke. If we had not been in the room with her, she would have died. Babies have been sleeping on his stomach for millions of years. All babies in my family were belly sleepers such as babies and we are all beautiful. The baby I never knew who died of SIDS has been a back sleeper.

If she is able to roll smoothly back and forth (back to belly and belly to back) and sleeping space is safe (no bumpers, bedding, stuffed animals, and remove the positioner) then it is safe to sleep on his stomach.

If it is only able to go back (go back to his belly, but not the stomach to back), I'd be concerned about his turning to his belly.

If I remember correctly, my son was about 4 months when he started to roll in bed. It is fine on its belly. Although, because it rolls over, you should remove the triangle thing. I read in parents and was told by my pediatrician that they can present a choking hazard when the baby starts rolling.

My baby started sleeping on his stomach at 3 weeks! No matter how many times I turn it back, he returns to his stomach. It can turn and move the head back and forth very well what I was told not to worry about that. if SIDS happens it will happen, no matter how they sleep. just a sad reality

My baby was a belly sleeper since she was a month and a bit old! She sleeps better on his stomach to his back. Your daughter will probably sleep more comfortable and stomach as she is herself running on it will be fine

Shes a little more comfortable on his belly. Both my son slept there belly at around 6 months and are perfectly fine. So they can turn again to the other side of the fine.

Now is the time to remove the positioner triangle, it is safer. Since then, she rolls on her sleeping on the belly is beautiful:)

It is OK if it is able to run on herself that she is fine.

yes the last poster was worried about her baby could not do that and you can worry cuz Sell!
