Moby Wrap and Scarf Compare While pregnant, I made a good amount of research on different types of baby carriers because there are many to choose! You have your style backpack constructed, deconstructed your envelope, your ring type belts with tons of fill, upholstery little or no padding at all, and finally, the non-adjustable pouch style. Just make your head spin! (And we have not even discussed the various options for stretch knit fabrics, denim rigid, solid color, patterned, organic cotton, etc., etc.!)
So I decided to have two starting points: 1) the Moby wrap, and 2) the course of the shoulder Baby Holder (OTSBH). This review will focus on the synthesis of Moby and compare it to the OTSBH appropriate.
I bought my navy blue uniform Moby Wrap at the fair created a sales booth attatchment parenting / type of products oriented course (see Moby-Wraps.com ). The seller was a baby on the hip using the Moby Wrap and her husband was a child too. He was kind enough to take her child and demonstrate how to put on and how to put the baby. It resembled a large number of measures, but they said it would just take a little practice to get it down pat. I paid about $ 30 for it.
The construction of this painting is actually quite simple. It is actually quite long (about 18 feet seriously!) 2 feet wide rectangular piece of fabric with a logo in the middle to help with positioning. It does not blur at each end. He is entered in step by step written instructions with pictures to accompany each step. I was still pregnant when I bought it, I practiced with a teddy bear to get the touch. The instructions say it takes 3-5 times to put it on until you feel confident. I agree with that, probably closer to the time 5.
For purposes of comparison, I also had played with over my shoulder Baby Holder sling padded adjustable. It was certainly quicker to put this type of harness on, but it has drawbacks (see below).
I first used my Moby wrap when my son was just a few days. He felt very safe there and seemed content, especially once I started walking around it. I still use it several times a week and my 4-month, 18 + son she loves books!
What I like about this sling
-The baby feels very secure
"He feels comfortable on, and the baby's weight is evenly distributed (unlike OTSBH, which puts more weight on my shoulders and back and it may be comfortable for 30-45 minutes)
Multiple positions are available, including taking cradle outwards and facing in.
The color-solid navy goes well with any outfit and my husband can also be
-The 100% cotton fabric is lightweight and easily washable and dryable machine (the OTSBH gets too hot with all the padding, especially outside in the hot climate where I live)
Disadvantages:
"Even if I'm more inclined to use what I was first, he must have one or two minutes to assemble and get the baby from the OTSBH.
