Aveeno Sunblock

Aveeno SunblockSunscreen skin beauty know-

Although the average woman of color has a natural SPF of 13 (which means we can stay in the sun without burning thirteen times more than a white woman), we still need to include sunscreen in our care program the skin daily for four main reasons.

aec Sun causes premature aging. Women of color are less sensitive to the signs of aging (wrinkles, sun spots), but we still have the age of at least a few wrinkles, especially those of us with lighter skin tones.

aec Sun causes sunburn. We are not immune from sunburn which damages the skin. Despite what many of us think, our skin can burn and that we were going on a trip to the Caribbean, Mexico, or a local beach.

aec Sun may contribute to discoloration of the skin. When stimulated by sunlight, our cells may melanocytes produce more melanin, triggering hyperpigmentation or darkening of the skin in any irregularity. If you already have dark markings on the face or body, the color may become more pronounced.

aec Sun suppresses the immune system. This effect probably reduces the body's ability to fight infection, cancer and other conditions.

sunscreens work by absorbing harmful ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) before they can affect the skin. Sunscreens create a protective barrier that reflects UV rays, causing them to bounce off the skin. Like other products from skin care, sunscreens are designed for different skin types. For most women Brown, a sunscreen with SPF 15 (which means you can stay within fifteen Sun Times more without burning) is sufficient, but if you have certain medical conditions such as lupus, or take certain medications, you may need a sunscreen with SPF 30. Look for broad spectrum products containing ingredients that protect skin from UVA and UVB rays. (Although women of color tend to avoid sunscreens containing zinc oxide or titanium oxide because they leave a white coating on the skin, these officers provide the most complete protection of sun.) Here's what more you need to know.

For oily skin. Select a gel sunscreen or light spray as Ombrelle Spray or gel Presun 30. If you use moisturizer in cold months, look for one that contains sunscreen SPF 15.

For normal skin /. Apply a gel sunscreen with SPF 15 sunscreen or a moisturizer such as Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer with SPF 15.

For dry skin. You can use any lotion or sunscreen, they stay longer than gels. One I recommend is Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15. Your best bet may be a rich moisturizer containing sunscreen.

For sensitive skin. Shop for PABA free, chemical free sunscreen. (Sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium oxide do make the skin look white, but new products contain the finest ingredients that blend into the skin after several minutes.)
