My won will be four months in a few days. they say using sunscreen you can not for babies under 6 months, but I used it on my son when he was 4 months and it was fine hes now 10 months ... you can dress to cover the sun with long sleeves and a hat ... but then your baby will be warm and sweat .... what I did was rub a little on his arms and watched the next 2 days to see if he had a reaction to the sunscreen and it didn't ... So I started to use it whenever we went to the beach or the park, since we live in Miami where the sun is so strong I asked the pharmacist about it and they said yes .. but just make sure you get your hands on the baby or near her mouth so they cannot 'eat' it Sunscreen is not recommended for babies under 6 months. I would put on an outfit that has long sleeves and long pants (to use a lightweight) and keep it in the shade. Posted on February 21, 2010.
