Aveeno Baby Sunblock

Aveeno Baby SunblockCan you put sunscreen on a baby of 4 months?

My won will be four months in a few days.

We want to take her to the beach for the first time tomorrow, but I do not want to give him a sunburn.

I have a baby Aveeno sunscreen, and he said: "Children under 6 months ask a doctor."

I'll call her pediatrician before putting it on him tomorrow, but just wanted to know what other moms have done ... Did you put sunscreen on your baby before they are 6 months?

they say using sunscreen you can not for babies under 6 months, but I used it on my son when he was 4 months and it was fine hes now 10 months ... you can dress to cover the sun with long sleeves and a hat ... but then your baby will be warm and sweat .... what I did was rub a little on his arms and watched the next 2 days to see if he had a reaction to the sunscreen and it didn't ... So I started to use it whenever we went to the beach or the park, since we live in Miami where the sun is so strong

I asked the pharmacist about it and they said yes .. but just make sure you get your hands on the baby or near her mouth so they cannot 'eat' it

Sunscreen is not recommended for babies under 6 months. I would put on an outfit that has long sleeves and long pants (to use a lightweight) and keep it in the shade.
